Pie charts and social media

This delicious looking pud has got us thinking about pie-charts.⁣

What does a pie-chart have to do with social media?⁣

On social media, you need to post content that is interesting and relevant to your audience. And while you hopefully have a following of people who are interested in your brand, to post consistently and regularly about just your brand and what you offer, is going to be challenging and also may become boring. This is where your brand pie-chart comes to the rescue.⁣

Think about your target audience. Who are they? What are their interests? Create a list of things your target audience is interested in that crosses over with things that relate and are relevant to your brand. ⁣⁣
For example, if you run a local farm shop, you and your audience will potentially be interested in local produce, sustainability, unprocessed food, recipes using ingredients that can be sourced from the farm shop, local restaurants that use your produce, etc. ⁣

Once you've created your list, think about which ideas are most relevant to your brand and which are the least relevant. Allocate a percentage to each item to show how much content you're going to devote to each segment on your pie-chart, start sourcing and creating content, and get posting!⁣
