Benefits of social media
Of course WE love social media, but what are the business benefits? There are many, but here are just a few you may not have considered:
1. You can find out what your customers want from you, just by asking. A simple example. If you're producing a new product but don't know which colours to produce it in, just ask! If you want to know what's 'on trend' for your particular product, you can find out by searching relevant hashtags.
2. Improve customer service. Increasingly customers are turning to social media to voice their complaints as well as praise for a brand. Social media gives you a chance to quickly respond and have real-time conversations with people to hopefully resolve any issues efficiently and positively.
3. Gather fresh and interesting content. Encourage your customers to tag your brand in content they post. You then have ready-made, authentic content to share with your audience.
